Terms and Conditions of Módní pejsek Dog Salon
We value your pet and want to assure you that we will do everything we can to make your care as safe and enjoyable as possible. The safety of everyone – both people and animals – is always our top priority.

Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
Services are provided in accordance with the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act. By booking an appointment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. The salon's operating hours may differ from the information provided on the website, social media, or the information board at the entrance, as we work exclusively based on prior appointments.
2. Health Status and Vaccination
The animal must be clinically healthy, clean, and free of contagious skin diseases, purulent inflammations, or external parasites. The client confirms that the animal has a valid rabies vaccination (mandatory for dogs). To ensure the safety of all clients, the provider reserves the right to refuse service in case of suspected illness or parasite infestation. Sedation of animals is not possible in our salon – this service can only be provided by a veterinarian.
3. Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments must be booked in advance – we work by appointment only. Cancellations or changes to appointments must be announced at least 24 hours in advance so that we can offer the slot to other clients on the waiting list. In case of late cancellation or a "no-show," a fee of up to 50% of the service price may be charged. We accept delays of up to 15 minutes from the scheduled time. For longer delays, we reserve the right to refuse the client.
4. Pricing and Payments
The price of services is listed in the current price list at the salon or on the website and is indicative. In case of increased difficulty (severely matted coat, complex styling, aggressive behavior, etc.), the price may exceed the listed amounts. The exact price can often only be determined during the procedure. Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
5. Safety and Responsibility
The client is obliged to inform us about any health limitations or behavioral issues of the animal. We do not work with completely uncontrollable or highly aggressive dogs. If the animal displays aggression during treatment, a muzzle may be used. A muzzle is completely safe and protects both the dog and the groomer. If the dog continues to pose a danger, we have the right to interrupt the care at any time and charge a proportional part of the price for the work performed. While accidents are very rare when working with dogs, they can occur (e.g., minor nicks or scratches). You will be informed immediately of any incident. If the condition is serious and the owner is unavailable, we will contact the nearest veterinary clinic immediately. Módní pejsek Dog Salon is not responsible for the consequences of undisclosed health problems or behavioral traits of the animal.
6. Complaints and Claims
Any complaints must be made immediately after the service is provided. Complaints will be handled individually in accordance with applicable legal regulations. Complaints submitted after more than 7 days cannot be accepted, as circumstances beyond our control (allergies, skin irritation, improper home care, accidents) may have occurred during this time. In case of any health issues after the procedure (e.g., after bathing or teeth cleaning), please contact us immediately so we can find a solution together.
7. Additional Rules
Dogs must be walked before grooming. If a dog soils the salon, a cleaning and disinfection fee of 500 CZK will be charged (this process can take up to 30 minutes). The duration of care is determined individually according to the needs of the specific dog. Pressure or rushing from the owner is unacceptable. Please do not interrupt the groomer during work and do not return to the salon until you are invited to pick up your dog. The owner's return can complicate the work and cause injury. If you pick up your dog later than agreed, please inform us. An additional fee is charged for waiting after closing hours. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an appointment without giving a reason.
Disclaimer / Client Declaration
I confirm that my dog is in good condition, healthy, and fully vaccinated. I agree that Módní pejsek Dog Salon is not responsible for irritation, abrasions, patchiness, or hair loss caused by pre-existing skin conditions, nor for consequences resulting from my failure to inform about the dog's health or behavior.
If my dog bites or attempts to do so, a muzzle may be used, or the procedure may be terminated – and I will pay for the work performed up to that point.
If my dog causes injury to an employee or another client, I undertake to cover all resulting costs.
